Shane decided to make a quilt for his 100 day project for school. He chose 100 different fabrics to make into a 10 by 10 grid. It took him a while to arrange the squares in a color pattern that he liked. He wanted to get it just right!

It took Shane about two weeks of sewing to complete his quilt. Mom helped with setting up the sewing machine and ironing. Shane really liked operating Mom's old sewing machine. He also wrote a report for his class explaining how he made the quilt. Overall, he was quite pleased with the final result!

Shane got a chicken bone from Mr. Max at Whole Foods so that he could soak it in vinegar for a week for a chicken bone science experiment. The vinegar was supposed to make the bone rubbery. He was a little disappointed that he couldn't turn the bone into a pretzel.
